The journey to this painting took me several years. I used to live in this street, on which there is an old abandoned church, in front of which trees grow with intertwined crowns. Road leading into distance with houses and forest as background. At the time, it seemed to me that it would be a nice subject with an interesting composition. But something didn't fit and something was missing. As I was hurrying back home before the storm started, I saw this wonderful view. Stunned by surprise, I froze and could not and could not breathe. A divine force of nature combined with history and I'm here. At home, I immediately grabbed the brushes and started painting this picture under great impression.
For painting, I use high-quality canvas with a proportional composition of cotton and synthetics. I usually use a three to four layer technique. After it has completely dried, I glue the canvas to the panel using a special transparent double-sided adhesive film. As a final point, varnished with a protective varnish.
